A Few Words About The Cedars

Set mid-way up Skye’s west coast, our 1920’s whitewashed croft cottage is uniquely situated, the last cottage out onto the Ardtreck peninsular. It is set in fields, under a granite bluff splashed with purple heather, and catches glimpse views of the sea just five minutes walk away. I've seen seals, an otter and even a Minke Whale while fishing for Mackerel off the lighthouse.

S and J Schofield  - July 2011 : We have had a fantastic 3 weeks here on Skye and "The Cedars" has been the perfect base for us. Cosy evenings in front of the fire with a whisky have been a relaxing end to each days walking. The cottage has a real home from home feel and we are very sad to leave.

Rama, Julia and Rana (Beirut) - July 2011 : Our five days in the cottage were the highlight of our great UK adventure. Here on Skye we saw nature in all it's most beautiful appearances. It was simply magical. Our walks were wonderful on windy and sunny days. "The Cedars" is very cosy and beyond comfortable. After spending a few days here it began to feel like home.

Michael, Diane, Rachel and James, East Sussex - What a great holiday we had here, the cottage is so cosy and really away from it all with stunning views. We enjoyed fantastic walks from the cottage and early morning fishing from the rocks, and then cooking them for breakfast. Hiring a ghillie for the day was well worthwhile - we had a fly fishing lesson then picnicked by a stream and watched the salmon jumping the waterfalls. Unforgettable - thank you!
